Application

Semiconductors

Sulphur hexafluoride is used as a plasma etching gas.

Glass

Sulphur hexafluoride is often used as a filling gas in double glazing as it reduces the sound transmissions and the heat transfer.

Metal Treating

As sulphur hexafluoride is both inert and considerably denser than air it is suitable for blanketing open baths of certain molten metals, particularly magnesium.

Scientific Experiments

Sulphur hexafluoride is used in laboratories as a carrier gas media in supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), and as media in supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) for sample preparation.

Medical

Sulphur hexafluoride is being used for medical purposes such as a contrasting agent for ultrasound examinations, and in retinal surgery.

Our SF6 typically has an MOQ of around 100 cylinders. Single cylinder sales are not accepted.

If sold in cylinder form, we typically use 40L steel cylinders equipped with DISS716 valves. However, we also accept customer-specified cylinders and valves.

We are a professional gas supplier, and gases are our main products. Generally, we can provide cylinders for sulfur hexafluoride shipped together. We also accept customer tank trucks for filling at our facility, but we do not sell tank trucks, tube trailers, or empty cylinders.
